DPS Avalanche Training

Thanks to support from the Alaska Dept. of Public Safety, NAOI will be offering a host of free avalanche safety training programs around Alaska.

Upcoming classes include:

Sat. Jan. 12 – Wasilla Dorothy Page Museum (12-2p)

Sun. Jan. 13 – Meadow Lakes Senior Center (Beacon Park) (11a-4p) Wed. Jan. 16 – Island & Oceans, Homer (6-8:30p)

Thur. Jan. 17 – Kenai High School (6-8p)

Fri. Jan 18 – Seward High School (6-8p)

Sat. Jan. 19 – Turnagain Pass (11a-3p)

Sat. Jan. 26 – Alyeska Resort, Hotel /Tram (11a-4p)

Sun. Jan 27 – Arctic Valley Ski Resort (11a-4p)

Tues. Feb. 5 – REI Anchorage (6-8p)

Sat. Feb. 9 – Menard Sports Center (Iron Dog Safety Expo) TBA

Sat-Sun – Feb. 16-17 – Big Lake Winter Fest (Iron Dog Start) TBA

Sun. March 17 – Meadow Lakes Senior Center (Beacon Park) 11a-4p

April 11-13 – Arctic Man, Summit Lake – TBA
